Summary

HSHS Medical Group is recruiting for a Board Certified or Board Eligible, Neurologist to join our Team of Providers at HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur, Illinois- Only 30 minutes from Springfield, Illinois, the State Capital. St. Mary’s is a Certified Stroke Center. The Neurologist will work alongside an established HSHS Neurologist and NP, as well as share call with an independent area Neurologist. St. Mary’s Hospital Stroke Center has a holistic approach when treating their Stroke patients. They use an interdisciplinary approach which works closely with area Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, Therapists, Dieticians, Neuropsychologists, and Message Therapist, which allows for the care of the whole patient, mind, body and spirit. The Neurologist will maintain an outpatient, practice-based clinic and provide inpatient consulting services. HSHS St. Mary's Hospital also has an inpatient advanced rehabiliation facility, that takes care of Stroke rehabiliation as well as traumatic and non-traumatic brain injury.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Must be licensed for Physician and Surgeon in the state of practice. Must also maintain an Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA when applicable to their specialty. Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program. Must be board certified or board eligible.
